MANY sites have food storage recipes but almost all of them are only for rotating your food storage into your regular recipes. That is NOT what this site is. These recipes are made from shelf stable food storage items only. I want to know what I can cook if I literally had to live off my food storage ONLY. Some recipes are good enough to be delicious in the "real world" they are tagged "yummy" (To print a post, click on it, then click on the "Printer Friendly" button at the end of the post)
Hi Sherida,
ReplyDeleteThis looks like something I could make and I have lots of wheat! When you say uncooked wheat kernals, is it just regular wheat or do I have to do something to the wheat to make it kernals. You can tell my ignorance on the whole wheat cooking experience.
Thanks,
Lou Ann
Lou Ann, this is a totally fool proof recipe, you will love it. You don't have to do anything to the wheat. Just use the regular wheat right out of your bucket, or can. Just make sure that you blend it the specified amount of time. It takes that long to turn into batter. Call me if you have any questions.
